Youth Suicide Prevention Coalition (YSPC)

Mission: ‘To promote awareness and understanding that suicide is a preventable public health problem in Benton and Franklin counties and to encourage our community to talk about it.’

In this time of Covid-19, Coalition meetings are held via Zoom, 9:30 AM to 11 AM on the first Wednesday of each month. Membership is open to all who who share our passion to see an end to youth suicides.

Yes! Youth Empowered to Speak-up

Documents and updates related to creating a 24/7 confidential tip line for reporting a variety of concerns targeted for ages 13-25, but open to all using multiple communication platforms, including text, phone app, online, voice, and other appropriate technologies. Confidential tip lines are working to save lives in 20 states, with more on the way.
